Artist Shezad Dawood, editor Gerrie van Noord and graphic designers Oliver Knight and Rory McGrath (OK-RM) discuss the process of making an artist’s book.
Conceived and commissioned by the artist, Black Sun is a volume that explores the multiple notions embedded within the ‘black sun’.
Drawing upon their two-year collaboration on this project, the panelists discuss the role of the artist’s book and the form’s potential to expand upon an artist’s work in new, exciting ways.
This event is part of The London Art Book Fair at Whitechapel Gallery, London, and will be held at the gallery from 1-2.30pm.
A free book signing will take place at the Ridinghouse stand (Stand 2) following the event.
